Creating in My New Craft Room! Feb. 27, 2014

So now that I am back in my craft room, the creative juices are flowing! I have been working with the new Creped Filter Paper making gorgeous flowers! (a lot of fun to make).

I also learned the star burst technique to make these great cards. Featuring the Neutrals Designer Series Paper and Strawberry Slush from the In Colors 2013-2015 Designer Series Paper.

 

 The final card I made yesterday comes from the Happy Congratulations stamp set. (sooo cuuute!)

Remodeling 2/25/2014

Hey Stampers!
I wasn't very "card" productive last week due to remodeling my craft room. It was nearly impossible to even enter the room. However, It is done enough to start stamping again!

Below is what it looked like during:

One of my lovely neighbors was remodeling her kitchen and was throwing out her old cabinets and countertop! I picked up a whole kitchen for FREE! Even though, I still have a little painting, hardware, and trim work to do, but it is operable. I owe a HUGE shout out to my adorable hubby and son-in-law for making it work! Love you guys!

 

Now keep in mind, I still have to get the drawers from my neighbor, because she still had stuff in them that she will transfer to her new drawers when her kitchen is complete. I LOVE the dish rack because it stores my 8 1/2 x 11 inch papers from Stampin' Up! 

 

I have already created one card that I love. Can't wait to get busy today!

Pop-up Card Boxes.....I Can't Get Enough! Feb. 19, 2014

Hello Stampers!
My name is Jan and I am addicted to Pop-Up card boxes! I can't get enough! They are just so darned cute! So here is my addiction masterpiece for the week! I used the Crisp Cantaloupe and Pistachio Pudding from the 2013-2015 In Color Designer Series Paper. The stamp sets are Hearts-a-Flutter and the Flowerful Heart( No longer available). The teapot stamp is not Stampin' Up!. I think it is something I picked up at a craft store...It doesn't even have a "brand" on it...

Valentines and Other Creations 2/12/2014

Hello Stampers!
I've been busy creating a few Valentines and other occasion cards.

On this Valentine, I used the Core'dinations paper (sandable) in Primrose Petals, the Hearts a Flutter Framelit Dies and the Flowerfull Heart stamp.

Also using the Hearts a Flutter Framelit Dies, and the Word Window Punch combined with the Modern Label Punch on Whisper White Cardstock. I aso used pink cardstock and an embossing folder I happened to have on hand.

With this masculine card, I used Whisper White, Basic Black, and Basic Gray card stock. The Designer Paper in the Neutrals Collection as well as the 2012-2014 In Colors Collection (Summer Starfruit). The stamp is Friendly Phrases (retired) stamped in Summer Starfruit  punched out with the Artisan Label Punch.

And finally...the card I call Poppin; Dots! Using Very Vanilla, Kraft, and Chocolate Chip cardstock. (the blue is an old color, and I can't remember the name). The "dots" were created using the 1/2 inch circle punch. I used the Word Window punch and the Modern Label Punch to create the Happy Father's Day sentiment stamped with the Teeny Tiny Wishes set. All are attached with Dimensionals.

Hello Stampers!
I created these two cards last night after browsing Pinterest looking for cards to CASE. The white one is made with Stampin' Up! papers and Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set. Adorable Pop-up Cards

Hey Stamper Friends! These are two pop up cards that I made over the weekend! They are so adorable. I CASEed the pattern from Splitcoast Stampers. As you can see in the final shot the card folds flat for mailing! With the turquoise box. I used Stampin Up ink and the Cherish Friendship stamps set. I didn't use Stampin up paper, because I wasn't sure I could do it, and I didn't want to waste paper on a failed attempt (LOL). Anyway, the pink one was made with Stampin Up! Designer Series Paper, the new Baked Brown Sugar ink and the Artistic Etchings (retired) stamp set, I am so pleased with the results! Don't forget to check out the Weekly Deals!
